STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS

This methodology is used for candidates registering to the All Inclusive programs.

Pre-selection: Every candidate will be thoroughly screened and selected by our team of recruiters. Our pre-selection process consists in reviewing your qualifications and educational background, checking your eligibility, motivations, evaluating your English and making sure you understand the J-1 visa Program rules and regulations.

Registration: Once your application is accepted, we will send you a complete registration package. Once your complete file has been received, one of our recruiter will contact you for a second phone interview to help understand your needs and expectations.

Resume: International Trainee Network will modify your resume and adapt it to U.S. standards and to the field in which you want to be placed.

Research process: Once your resume and your personalized profile have been updated, we will start the research process. Our professional staff members make selective calls to sources and prospects to identify any interested companies. This step is the longest and the most important. We try very hard to match the specific profile and objectives of each candidate. During this period, our recruiters will provide you with regular process reports.

Telephone interviews: We schedule a mutually convenient phone interview between you and the potential employer. We prepare you for the interview by giving you information on the company as well as advice for a good presentation. During this interview you will be able to ask the employer questions to better understand your future responsibilities.

Negotiation: Once a company has agreed to host you, it may be difficult to negotiate yourself the conditions of your internship. That is why International Trainee Network will negotiate for you critical points such as salary, transportation, housing, starting and ending dates… We guaranty a minimum salary of US$ 1200 per month but generally obtain an average of US$ 1500 per month.

Legal Documents: Once you have an internship, you must have a visa to legally enter the United States as a Trainee. International Trainee Network will file the required documents to apply for the J-1 Visa. Furthermore you will have our advices concerning possible interviews at the American Embassy.

Assistance: As soon as you arrive in the United States we will prepare an arrival package for you, including transportation from the airport to a hotel, listing of temporary or/and long term housing. Furthermore we will advise you on how to obtain a social security number, open a bank account  and obtain a driver's license. Finally we will always be available to assist you during the period of the internship in case of an emergency.
